talk about being set up for failure. Teachers need to dump NYSUT. The teachers "international" sold them out. They take a large percentage of your union dues for what? NYSUT sided with Cuomo while this agreement was still being negotiated on the local level. This has already been done in NYS-successfully. How insulting that teachers will be evaluated based on students who are "not" in attendance. And- your score will be publicly posted. Nationwide districts are being found "doctoring" their scores. Can you blame them. Their livelihoods are based on this number. Buffalo has a Parent based group meeting tonight- are they even parents? Google the names-I smell community based funding........ Teachers, you have had no natural enemies- now you have politicians that are "demonizing" your profession. What are you going to do about it?
